Numinous Flux is a contemporary dance company based in Nashville, TN.

Artistic Director, Laura Valentine, has crafted multiple full length productions over the last decade observing and processing the transformative power of birth, death, breath, relationship and trauma integration. Her choreography acts as a conduit for bringing what's inside, into the outside and finding resonance.

 

The artists who embody Numinous spend time forging depth and moving with meaning. Every touch, glance, reaction becomes part of a shared experience in real time; with nuance shaded by each dancer's own humanity. Cultivating each little world of movement is a quest that can take Laura and the company years to grasp. As the shows slowly form, so deepen the trust and relationships of the collective.

The work of Numinous has won the Bella Moxi Choreographic Festival regionally and nationally, and the RAW Artist of the Year Title for Tennessee. Numinous was selected to perform at The Capezio Theatre in New York City and their most recent work Breathe, has been invited to perform at Killruddery Historic Estate in Wicklow, Ireland.
